Local 1383 advocates for the safety, well-being, and professional development of our members while maintaining a steadfast commitment to the citizens we serve. We believe in building trust through action, supporting our community not only during times of crisis but also through charitable outreach, education programs, and public engagement.

The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members—and IAFF members only—who are struggling with addiction, PTSD, or other related behavioral health challenges. It provides a safe environment for members to receive the help they need as they take the first steps toward recovery. The center also serves as a haven where members can talk with others who have faced or overcome similar challenges.

📣🚨Station 1 Is Officially In Service! 🚒🚑
We’re proud to finally announce that our new Fire Station 1 is now fully operational!! Quint 1 and Squad 1 are responding to emergencies from the new station and ready to serve the community with improved access and upgraded infrastructure.
We want to extend our sincere thank you to everyone who made this possible. From the previous to current Mayor's Office, Warren City Council, City of Warren Fire Department administration staff, our dedicated members, and most importantly, the taxpayers and supporters who continue to invest in public safety.
A fire department is only as strong as the support it receives from its community and leaders, and we are truly grateful for the trust you place in us.
📣Please remember 📣: the old Station 1 at 9 Mile and Federal is now closed and no longer open to the public. We will no longer be responding to emergencies from this location.
Thank you for helping us keep Warren safe. ... See MoreSee Less

This afternoon, Warren firefighters responded to an apartment fire in the 8000 block of Karam. Crews reported a working structure fire with extension to other floors through building void spaces, prompting a second alarm.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our crews and mutual aid partners, the fire was brought under control before further damage occurred. We appreciate our mutual aid partners for their assistance on scene and for backfilling stations to maintain emergency coverage.
